Zero Accidents
DSP has followed all safety and IIPP procedures to ensure a safe work environment, with zero accidents. Apprentices on this project were a mix of certified trainees and ABC SoCal unilateral program.
Scope of Work
Complete turnkey electrical for a 14,695 SF church facility.
DSP provided all power and low-voltage utility conduit to the site, all site lighting, and a complete turnkey building. A key challenge of the project was the power and low-voltage utility work, which required crossing a busy intersection with lane diversions and traffic control.
Throughout the project, DSP worked in direct coordination with the architect and general contractor to execute the parish’s needs with complete accuracy. DSP delivered all required contract items in accordance with the project plans and specifications, including additional underground utility work and enhanced accent lighting for the bell tower and cross.
Detailed Scope
Main Service — 1200A / 208/120v / 3ph / 4w. DSP installed an exterior mounted main electrical service with sub feeds into the building and an EV panel on the exterior.
DSP installed all contract and change order lighting with nLight programmed controls for the interior and exterior of the project.
DSP provided conduit and boxes only for the fire alarm system throughout the project.
DSP installed underground conduit to 6 future EV parking stalls with (2) 1″ conduits per location.

Project Challenges
Road crossing & parish redesigns.
A key challenge of the project was the power and low-voltage utility work, which required crossing a busy intersection with lane diversions and traffic control. DSP installed conduit for SCE and telecom services across a main road and a large island in the middle of the road — requiring close coordination with the city, utility providers, and traffic management.
This project also had moderate delays driven by redesigns by the parish. Throughout these changes, DSP worked in direct coordination with the architect and general contractor to execute the parish’s needs with complete accuracy — including additional underground utility work and enhanced accent lighting for the bell tower and cross.
